The Image Creation Journey - The Artist - Diane Hix

Have you ever found yourself feeling moved or lifted while listening to a special piece of music, or felt your entire being shift while being present with a piece of art?

I frequently have the experience of being connected with something larger than me while I am in the process of working on my art. It is a dual-phenomenon of both being inspired and making something inspiring. I hope that my art takes you to the places it takes me.

I use my own photos of crystals and flowers to create all of my images.

My creative journey of shooting the photos and then the post processing of creating the images is very meditative for me. The end result is something I consider deeply spiritual, uplifting, and healing. When the process is in its highest form of flow, the images seem to just appear on a frequency of deep heartfelt love. When viewing my images, I hope that they can awaken within you a new resonance in which you can allow yourself to become more expansive and connected.

Many people collect spiritual art simply to beautify their surroundings with beauty and intrigue. But deep down they often feel a connection with the colors, the forms, texture, and more importantly the resonance of the energy from the image.

Spiritual artwork can change an individual's living space and can create an atmosphere that becomes entirely new. The beauty of spiritual art, both for the artist and the viewer, is that anyone can take what they see and interpret it however they want. Use your imagination to tell your own story of the image.
